SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 31, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Monolith Technologies, Inc. today announced App Intents support for ShopSavvy Product Search, bringing independent, retailer-agnostic product discovery natively into iOS and across Apple devices just in time for the holiday season. App Intents makes ShopSavvy’s search, price comparison, and deal tracking instantly available through Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, Camera, Photos, widgets, Control Center, lock screen controls, Apple Watch, and more.

“App Intents is about making ShopSavvy’s product search technology surface at the exact right time in the search experience,” said Jake Marsh, Chief Technology Officer at Monolith Technologies. “Whether invoking Siri, tapping a Spotlight suggestion on the lock screen, or pressing the action button on iPhone 15 Pro, ShopSavvy now meets users in the moment of intent with fast, accurate results.”

With App Intents, users can run ShopSavvy searches by voice or automation, receive Siri Suggestions in Spotlight and on the lock screen, and Handoff an active search session from iPhone to iPad or Mac without losing context. Visual Search lets users identify products directly from the Camera app or Photos library and instantly compare prices and availability across thousands of retailers.

“We’ve designed App Intents to feel native across the Apple ecosystem,” continued Marsh. “Quick actions on the lock screen, Control Center access to scan or search, Apple Watch complications for deal alerts, and deep Shortcuts support help users act immediately—no app hunting, no friction.”

Key capabilities include:

Siri and Shortcuts: Voice and automated workflows for search, price checks, and deal alerts

Siri Suggestions: Proactive recommendations in Spotlight and on the lock screen

Visual Search: Identify products from Camera and Photos to compare prices instantly

Spotlight: System-wide search surfaces ShopSavvy results and recent activity

Handoff: Seamlessly continue an active search between iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Lock Screen Controls: One-tap access to scan, search, and tracked products

Action Button: Map any ShopSavvy intent to iPhone 15 Pro’s action button

Apple Watch: Complications and Siri support for glanceable deal and price updates

Widgets: Home screen, lock screen, and StandBy widgets for tracked products and price drops

Control Center: Quick access tiles for barcode scanning and product search

Future-ready: Built to align with Apple’s forthcoming assistant/agent capabilities
